In the deep dark night,
In the very black night,
I leave for the daybreak land.
Though I heard a morning bell of the church,
Though I heard the sounds that a rooster crows,
My sight was still in the dark night.
We first met each other
At the cold hour of daybreak.
I could feel the morning in his eyes.
Oh, Lord, I desire to give thanks in my burning heart
For giving Siloam in my life.
I was blind and in the cold and dark of night.
Oh, Lord, keep my soul
That I may not lose this vision
Even though I walk in the cold, dark wilderness.*
