Life Together
Worship, food, fellowship and fun - here are the special events we have planned.
Before Lent Potluck
Lent is nearing. Before it arrives, we will have a potluck! You can bring a meatless dish or something else that looks forward to Lent. Or you can indulge in one last splurge by bringing something decadent. Either way, we hope you come.
Lenten Readings
We are reading through the gospel of Matthew during Lent. We invite you to read with us. Here is a bookmark that you can print and use to keep track of your readings: Lent Bookmark 2021.
Christmas Eve Candle Service
During the season of Advent, we prepare for the coming of Jesus. Our candle-lighting service completes this journey. We hope you will participate in this special service.
Reverse Trick-or-Treat
For many years we have enjoyed hosting a Trunk-or-Treat for our neighborhood. This year, we have decided not to hold this event for your health and ours. But we haven’t forgotten you! We are preparing treat bags to bring to you. On October 29, we will hang the treat bags[…]
Lenten Readings
During Lent we are reading through the book of Luke. We invite you to join us. Here is a bookmark that you can print and use to keep track of your readings: Lent Bookmark 2020
Ash Wednesday
Join us for our Ash Wednesday service at 6:00 pm and stay for the fish dinner after.
Valentine’s Potluck
Desserts! Our Valentines potluck is the perfect opportunity to bring chocolate, cheesecake, or some other decadent dessert. Of course we need our meat and potatoes (or fruits and vegetables) too. No matter what you choose to bring, we hope you will come!
African-American History Month
For the month of February, St. Mark’s is celebrating African-American History Month. Each Sunday, before worship, we will have a slideshow of pictures from African-American history, past and present. We hope you will come 15 minutes early (10:45 am) each Sunday this February. Image by Oberholster Venita from Pixabay.
Soup & Chili Potluck
Cold weather and warm foods go together. So, for our first potluck of the year, we are bringing soups and chili. We hope you will fix up a pot of your favorite and join us after worship.
Christmas Potluck
As Advent draws to a close, we celebrate our time together with a Christmas potluck luncheon. We will bring our Christmas favorites. We invite you to bring a favorite of yours and come celebrate with us.
