Life Together
Worship, food, fellowship and fun - here are the special events we have planned.
Thanksgiving Potluck
We celebrate the end of the Christian year with a feast of thanksgiving. Bring your favorite fall foods to share. Let us give thanks together.
Collecting for Treat Bags
We are collecting candy and donations for treat bags. We are preparing 100 bags. Each bag will be filled with candy, two pairs of socks and a St. Mark’s brochure. If you want to contribute, please have your donation to the church by Sunday, October 23.
Potluck & Charge Conference
At this potluck, we celebrate our life together as a church. We begin by sharing our food and end by remembering the past year and looking forward to the next. We hope you will participate.
Fellowship Potluck
Potluck – a communal meal to which people bring food to share. By sharing our food with each other, we get to know each other a little better. We hope everyone will come, bring some food, and share a meal and a bit of yourself with us.
Potluck – Pentecost Sunday
There is so much to celebrate – Pentecost, high-school graduates and Rev. Sim’s doctorate. Surely a potluck is in order. We hope you will join us for food, fellowship and celebration. Rev. Sim will give us an overview of his dissertation.
Easter Feast Potluck
Christ is risen! Our Lenten journey is complete! After worship, we will have a potluck feast. Bring some food to share, and we will celebrate the Resurrection together!
24-Hour Fast
We will fast for 24 hours between Good Friday and Holy Saturday to partake in Jesus’s Passion and Crucifixion. We suggest fasting between lunch on Friday and lunch on Saturday.
Holy Thursday Service
We invite you to this special service in which we remember that Jesus and his disciples had the Lord’s Supper together before Jesus was arrested, crucified and buried.
Lenten Readings
We are reading through the gospel of Mark during Lent. We invite you to read with us. Here is some encouragement from our pastor: Lenten Journey. And here is a bookmark that you can print and use to keep track of your readings: Lent Bookmark 2022.
Ash Wednesday Service
We invite you to mark the beginning of Lent by joining us in our Ash Wednesday service.
