Lenten Readings

Ash Wednesday Service
We mark the beginning of Lent with this special Ash Wednesday worship service. We invite you to worship with us.
Sweets & Treats Potluck
We are having a potluck on the Sunday before Lent begins. Let’s indulge! We invite you to join us and bring a special treat or favorite dessert to share with everyone.
Work Day
It’s time once again to change A/C filters & R/O filters, replace burned out lightbulbs, clean the kitchen and do other miscellaneous tasks. Please join us as we care for our church building. Many hands make the work light.
New Year’s Potluck
After worshiping together, we will fellowship together. At this potluck we will share our traditional new year’s foods. We invite you to come and bring a new year’s food from your family, nation or heritage.
Christmas Eve Service
On Christmas Eve we complete our Advent journey with a beautiful, evening worship service in which we welcome Jesus, the light that overcomes the world’s darkness.
Christmas Potluck
On December 18, the last Sunday before Christmas Sunday, we feast together after worship. We hope you will bring a Christmas favorite and join the celebration.
Advent
Advent is a season of repentance, a time of spiritual house-cleaning. It is a time to consider the direction our lives are headed. It is the time to prepare our hearts to meet Jesus. We invite you to worship with us each Sunday as we prepare our hearts for Christmas.

Hanging of the Greens
It’s time to get the sanctuary ready for Advent! After we worship and enjoy our Thanksgiving potluck, we will put up the Christmas tree and decorate the sanctuary. We invite you to join us in this joyful work.
