I believe
There are beings who have eyes but cannot hear,
have ears but cannot see death,
have life on the earth while being dead to heaven.
Being alive before the light but in the dark, (2)
Being only now but scattered in time,
Being in possession of all the world offers but (3)
Being trapped in the valley of the shadow of death. (4)
I believe
There is the way to become the light of life after death, (5)
the way of walking in the peace beyond the shadow of death,
the green pasture beside quiet waters where
I will rest though I may walk in the desert. (6)
I believe
The belief I have in Jesus is the way.
The narrow path which I am walking is the way. (7)
The cross and the resurrection which Jesus walked, and
The way I am following Jesus is the way.
I believe the way is my whole life responding to your call.
