I know that you seek to kill me
Because my word finds no place in you. (1)
Though the light shines on them in the deep cave,
They avoid the light as uncomfortable and blinding
Because they have long been used to the darkness. (2)
Though they cannot live without saying “God,”
They hated the word of God when the living word appeared
Because they were accustomed to their own words. (3)
Though they took their life to keep Moses’s Law,
They take stones in anger before the one who completes the Law,
Because they believed in the name “Moses” instead of Moses’s God. (4)
Though they were chosen in Abraham’s faith by God,
They lost the right to be the children of God
Because they depended on Abraham’s descent, not the Spirit of God. (5)
Though they have religious robe and customs,
They cannot understand the word of God in the gospel of Jesus
Because they do not receive Jesus, the word of God.
Because my word finds no place in you,
I know that you seek to kill me. (6)
Misunderstanding and ignorance prompt murder.
