You who understand, recognize and accept Me,
From your innermost being streams of living water will flow. (1)
Come, all of you who are thirsty in this wilderness-like world;
Drink the living water I offer you in your deep hearts. (2)
If you know God who creates all beings,
you must feel the thirst of being in your soul.
If your eyes and ears were opened to my teaching,
you would have asked Me for the living water. (3)
You shall never thirst in this desert wilderness:
The water that I give will become in your innermost being,
become the well springing up to eternal life, (4) and
you will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water. (5)
Come to Me, all you who are weary and heavy-laden by the desert;
You will find rest for your souls in the well I give. (6)
If you understand, recognize and accept Me,
